After fetching with the Snapchat Story Downloader, compare the listed sizes and resolutions. MP4 is offered when a compatible stream or conversion is available. For a smaller listening file, choose MP3 or M4A if the video has sound. Changing a file extension does not convert a video.

Confirm that the link opens publicly and contains the media you expect. A temporary platform change, regional restriction or missing source format can prevent extraction. Try the original post link and a shorter clip. Audio conversion needs the server audio engine; photo and speech tools have their own runtime requirements.
